Shanghai to Debut London Black Cabs from October
Jul 07, 2014 By eChinacities.com

London’s iconic black cabs are now going to become a feature of Shanghai’s streets starting from October. Geely’s China-made TX4 taxi is an identical model to the classic hackney cabs.

The vehicles are more spacious than normal taxis and they will be equipped with ramps, so they are more suitable for carrying elderly and disabled passengers.

There will be 200 black cabs in service around the city, with the first 50 hitting the streets around the October national holiday.
