Shanghai and Hangzhou Linked by New Expressway

The Hangzhou section (S13) of the Shanghai-Jiaxing-Huzhou and Hangzhou Expressway recently finished construction and is now open to traffic. The 52 km two-way four-lane section limits speed to between 60 and 120 km/h, linking Hangzhou (Chongxian) to Shanghai – a total distance of 196 km. For travelers between the two cities, the new expressway has now added a fourth route to the existed options.
