Chinese P2P (peer-to-peer) online lending service platform, Tongxin Venture Capital recently posted a sad announcement: the company’s boss was cremated.
The Shandong-based company posted an announcement on their website. The announcement consisted of two photos and no text. One photo was of the boss’s death certificate, and the other was a picture of his cremation certificate. The certificates show that the company’s boss, Su Weidong, was born in February 1973 and died from cardiac arrest.
Su was the CEO of the venture capital firm and its only shareholder. Tonxin Venture Capital was founded in June 2014. The company’s official website is still open, but it has not undertaken any new investment projects.
