Most of northern and eastern China will experience strong, cold 4-6 force winds for three days starting on December 14. Eastern sections of North China, eastern Inner Mongolia, and northeastern South China will experience a drop in temperature of more than 8 degrees.

On the evening of December 13, the Central Metrological Observatory issued a yellow warning for severe pollution that will last until this evening. Areas affected include south-central Beijing, south-central Hebei, northeast Henna, south-central Shanxi, northwest Shandong, central Hebei, central Shanxi, northern Henan, and northwest Shandong. The wave of pollution should lift around noon today in North China and Huanghuai, but linger in south-central Northeast China.
