"Swan Lake", one of the most well-known ballets in the world, will be staged by the Russian National Ballet at the Kunming Theater from Sept 21 to 22.

The Russian National Ballet has performed in more than 80 countries including Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, England and the United States of America since their establishment in the 1980’s. Consisting of great dancers and choreographers from the Soviet Union, the team is praised as "the best ballet" nowadays.

In addition to "Swan Lake", a series of classical and traditional ballets, including Gisele, Sleeping Beauty and the Nutcracker, are also masterpieces of the ballet team. The team’s outstanding performance has won them medals from Germany and the United States. Certain cities in Mexico have gone further to grant the status of honorary citizens to the performers.
