After the Spring Festival celebrations, Qingdao’s home rental industry has seen a growth of more than 20%, and thus rents of homes are also on the rise (from 5% to 10% increase). More specifically in the south district of the city: areas around RT-Mart, Hong Kong Garden, Yingdu Garden, and those better furnished/serviced condominiums in and around Hong Kong Rd and Fuzhou Rd are renting out apartments at 1,500 to 2,000 RMB/month.
