After undergoing some upgrades, the fountain at West Lake (in Hangzhou) was turned back on July 15th. It can now shoot water 20 m in the air, which is much more impressive than the measly 14 m it was capable of before! During the day, the fountain will "perform" each hour with shows lasting 15 minutes; in the evening, the shows are 10 minutes long and occur every half hour.
