Yesterday afternoon saw the official release of a new TV series titled ‘Chongqing Meinü’ or ‘Chongqing Hottie’. Taking a total of 18 grueling days to film and with a budget of RMB 6000,000, Director Yang Ziting said that when the TV series is broadcast later in October this year it will create an accurate, if slightly dramatized version of real life in Chongqing.
The show has as its basis the ‘three beauties’ of Chonqing, that is to say ‘women, food and scenery’ and for anyone who lives in Chongqing this TV feast promises to be fun viewing. After all, it’s not everyday that Chongqing gets the limelight.
