Ferry
Transportation between Qingdao and Huangdao has been facilitated in recent years with numerous ferries as well as private boats. Traveling between each city is only 20-30 minutes and departs every half hour starting early in the morning until past dark. But be warned, the boats do not operate on misty or rainy days. This is a great way to travel in the summer time to experience the sea breeze.
Standard boat: (6:30 - 21:00) 6 RMB, every half an hour
High-speed boat: (7:00 - 18:00) 8 RMB, every 20 minutes
