Qingdao Liuting International Airport (TAO)
Qingdao Liuting International Airport (TAO) is located 23 kilometers from the city center. The airport serves various domestic and international destinations. Some of its most popular international destinations include Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Osaka in Japan; Seoul, Incheon and Busan in Korea; and Singapore. It also serves regional areas like Hong Kong and Macau.

The airport is served by shuttle buses (20 RMB) that take travelers to and from a number of central locations including Huiquan Dynasty Hotel, Century Mandarin Hotel, Blue Horizon Marina Gold Hotel and the Haitian Hotel. Services stop after the last flight has arrived. The taxi fare is approximately 70 RMB plus toll fee. Several city buses also travel to the downtown area, but first time travelers are advised to use either the shuttle bus or a taxi.
