Qingdao Liuting International Airport (TAO) is located 23 kilometers from the city center. The airport serves various domestic and international destinations. Some of its most popular international destinations include Tokyo, Fukuoka, Nagoya and Osaka in Japan; Seoul, Incheon and Busan in Korea; and Singapore. It also serves regional areas like Hong Kong and Macau.

The airport is served by shuttle buses (20 RMB) that take travelers to and from a number of central locations including Huiquan Dynasty Hotel, Century Mandarin Hotel, Blue Horizon Marina Gold Hotel and the Haitian Hotel.
