The construction plan of the first-phase subway project (Subway Line 3) in Qingdao will be completed at the end of 2012, according to reports. In 2013, the railway tracks will be laid down by June. After running on a trial basis until September 2014, citizens of Qingdao will be able to ride the subway and by the end of 2014, the Qingdao subway will be officially in use.
