Since beginning operations last summer, double-decker sightseeing buses in Qingdao have been very popular both with residents and with tourists. The sightseeing bus route stops at Lu Xun Park/Underwater World (鲁迅公园/海底世界), Badaguan Scenic Area (八大关景区), Erliao (二疗), May Fourth Square (五四广场), the Olympic Sailing Centre (奥帆基地) Silver Sea Yacht Club (银海游艇俱乐部), Polar Ocean World (极地海洋世界), Sculpture Garden (雕塑园), Shilaoren Beach (石老人浴场), Shilaoren Garden (石老人观光园), a large parking lot at the Laoshan Tourist Service Centre and many other sites. One full trip on the bus is 35 km and lasts just over an hour and a half. The cost is 30 RMB for a 24-hour, multiple-ride ticket, or 10 RMB for a single-ride ticket.
