Personal Information Selling to Carry 50,000 RMB Fine

From March 15, the China Credit Reference Industry will introduce punishments of up to 50,000 RMB for any company who sells or divulges personal or credit card information without consent. Individuals involved in the crime will also face fines of up to 10,000 RMB respectively.
