AmCham Shanghai’s Young Professionals Forum is proud to invite you to an event on Tuesday, February 22 from 15:30-17:00 at the Regal International East Asia Hotel on strategies for personal branding.
Personal branding is a highly effective way to clarify and communicate what makes you different, special and valuable to employers and customers. Lois Freeke of Niche Consulting will discuss ways to unearth your unique attributes — your strengths, skills, values and passions — and use them to stand out to make you more hirable.
Following her presentation, Ms. Freeke will be joined by Brian Fenerty of Tal-os Asia and Mark Lawrence of Caliper in a panel discussion. These experienced HR executives will discuss what companies are looking for when hiring and how personal branding can help you land your dream job.
At this event, participants will learn how to use personal branding strategies to:

  • Increase visibility and presence among those people who know them and their larger brand community and the people who need to know about them so they can land their ideal jobs
  • Differentiate themselves from competitors who are seeking the same job
  • Control their careers and decide not only where they want to work but the terms they want to work under
  • Increase their compensation
  • Ensure continuity in their careers
  • Increase their fulfillment and satisfaction with their careers

Agenda:

15:30   Registration & Networking
16:00   Presentation & Panel Discussion
