The 2009 Spring Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition was open on January 9th at Wuxi Culture and Arts Creation Center. The theme of the exhibition is "Wuxi is a nice place”.
In total 120 works of arts from famous painters and calligraphers in Wuxi are displayed. Among them are paintings of Taihu Lake, the Ancient Canal, historic districts and former residences of celebrities, to name a few.
