New Twin Baby Pandas at Shanghai Zoo

New Twin Baby Pandas at Shanghai Zoo

If you’re feeling down why not head to Shanghai zoo to meet its latest residents? Twin pandas Shuangxin and Shuangxi arrived at the zoo late April and made their public debut over the May Day holiday. The female pandas, who are both under three years old, were transferred from the Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center to join Shanghai zoo’s resident Giant Panda.

The twins apparently have very different personalities; Shuangxin enjoys a ‘neat and clean environment’ whilst Shuangxi is more affectionate in nature. Awww.

Hopefully they are enjoying their new home unlike one Panda in Yunnan who had an LED TV screen installed into her enclosure after she was found to be suffering from depression.
