The National Dance Company Wales will perform in a dance festival at the Chongqing Grand Theatre on September 11. The UK-based group was formerly known as Diversions – the Welsh Repertory Dance Company but changed its name in 2009. Led by artistic director Ann Sholem, the troupe was recently named in Telegraph magazine's 2008 Top Ten Dance Companies. The highly skilled and artistic group frequently tours Wales and the UK and has toured Ireland, Germany, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands and Spain.
