For the winter flight season, the Nanning's Wuwei International Airport recently opened two new flight routes: Changzhou-Nanning-Haikou, and Nanning-Kaohsiung (Taiwan). These new direct flights give Nanning residents a total of 49 domestic and international flights to choose from, covering most large and medium-sized cities in China, and many capital cities in ASEAN countries (Southeast Asia). A new flight route to Incheon (South Korea) is expected to open by the end of the year as well, raising the total to 50.
At present, Nanning has flight routes to: Beijing, Harbin, Shenyang, Dalian, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Jinan, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Taiyuan, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Nanchang, Ganzhou, Wuhan, Hefei, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Wenzhou, Jinjiang (Quanzhou), Changsha, Urumqi, Xi'an, Yinchuan, Chengdu, Chongqing, Kunming, Guiyang, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shantou, Haikou, Guilin, Wuzhou, Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh, Phnom Penh, Yangon, and Vientiane.
