As a new semester begins, 30 students at one of Nanjing's Jinling Middle School received a new kind of textbook that won't weigh down their backpacks: an iPad. As their teacher explains, these new "digital textbooks" actually cost only a tenth of the previous total textbook fee. According to reports, 21 elementary and middle schools in the Nanjing area are implementing the digital textbook test program.
