Saturday August 2 was Qixi, the Chinese equivalent of Valentine’s Day, and what better way to celebrate than to participate in an organized competitive public display of affection?
Couples turned up in their droves to a Nanjing department store to take part in a “Kissing Competition” on Saturday afternoon. The terms of the contest were pretty simple, couples had to get into the strangest/ most uncomfortable pose they could think of and then kiss.
The winning couple could win a big prize from the store, but who decided the winners and what exactly the prize was, wasn’t specified.

Kissing in public is inappropriate, but crapping on the street isn't. But to answer your question, it's double standards. Foreign devils like us are not allowed to have a Chinese girlfriend.
