It is reported that the miniature model showing the Eighteen Gates of Ancient Guangzhou will be completed and exhibited to local visitors at No. 6 Jinrong Jie, Guangwei Street (inside Guangfu Cultural Center on Guangwei Street) by the end of June.

The Eighteen Gates of Ancient Guangzhou exists in a historical period of the city that traces some 1,800 years from its birth under the Qing Dynasty to how it matured as a well-fortified city with 18-gates and 10-moats during the Qing Dynasty.

The miniature model is sculpted with a ratio of 1:1,500 to the real size of Guangzhou’s ancient city and includes the 18 gates of the city during the Qing Dynasty. It was built with great detail to show how ancient cities in China were built to last and to defend extensively against invaders.
