Location and Climate

The city of Yiwu sits almost entirely surrounded by mountains on the eastern side of the Jin Qu basin in the middle of the Zhejiang Province on the far east of China.

The monsoon climate that Yiwu enjoys gives it an annual yearly temperature of 17C. January is the coldest month when the temperature generally falls to about 4C. However, be careful as it sometimes falls 10C below this mark. In July, the temperature hits around 30C, but sudden showers are common and visitors should be careful to pack appropriate clothing.
