During the opening ceremonies of the 2nd China Wetland Culture Festival and Asian Wetland Forum in Wuxi on October 11th, the Lianghong National Wetland Park was approved by the State Forestry Administration to become one of China’s 12 official national wetland parks. The park, which is one of the main Wu culture attractions in the region, has a total area of 231 hectares.
