A typical Tibetan noodle soup that keeps the nomads warm during the long Tibetan winter. It is eaten with either vegetables, beef or mutton.

Milk Scrap Snacks 奶渣点心
‘Milk scrap’ is a popular dairy product in Tibet that is used to make a number of sweet and savory dishes. It is made from the whey that is created during the production of butter.

Momos
Momos are Tibetan dumplings made with meat (usually yak) or vegetables.

(Renshenguo Naizha Gao)人参果奶渣糕
Made by mixing cooked sapodilla fruit (Renshenguo), butter, milk scrap, brown sugar, dates and raisins and then cooled into cakes.

Tibetan Su Lao Gao 藏族酥酪糕
When cream is evaporated and dried, powder is left behind which is then ground finely. It is then mixed with butter, sugar, sapodilla, raisins and walnuts and steamed. It is milky and sweet, and often served by Tibetans to guests.

Pa Za Ma Guo 帕扎玛果
Knotted dough strips that are first boiled, then fried after having sugar and milk scrap added.

Tashi Porridge它西粥
Rice porridge with noodles, beef slices, salt and butter.
