Lenovo Releases Statement in Response to IBM Factory Workers Strike

On March 5, workers at the IBM factory went on strike after a deal between Lenovo and IBM was announced which stipulated the closure of this factory and the transfer of their jobs. More than 1,000 workers took to the street. The strike continued throughout the weekend.

On the morning of March 11, Lenovo released a statement saying that they promised to ensure that all IBM X86 staff would be placed in appropriate positions and that their salaries and benefits would not be any less than they had been before.
