Largest Water Park in the World Opens in Beijing

The incongruously titled “Happy Magic Water-Cube Park”, claimed to be the largest water park in the world, was opened to the public on the morning of June 16th. According to reports, the park located on Xiaotun Road, Fengtai District, costs a hefty investment of 1 billion RMB and is able to receive 30,000 visitors at one time. It is equipped with 18 main recreational facilities and 50 different slides.

Opening hours: 10:00-19:00
Ticket price: Adults 200 RMB; children160 RMB; children under 1.2m tall go free
Getting there: Take subway line 1 to Yuquan Lu Station, exit D2; then transfer to Bus No. 338 or 507 to Meishi Kou
