On May 20th, Ikea opened its first franchise store in the busy commercial area known as the Western Cross Golden Gallery in the Shenyang Mall in the Tiexi District. With the opening of the Shenyang store, Ikea, one of the top 500 enterprises in the world, now has eight outlets in China. The Shenyang Ikea is the biggest in Asia, with a total construction area of 106,000 square meters, 47,000 square meters of which are the business area.
