The voting results for the "6th Weixiao China's Favourite youth Tourist Destinations" were recently announced in Beijing. At the event, it was announced that Kunming and Lijiang were picked as the second and fifth favourite tourist destinations by youth voters. Additionally, Shangri-La was voted as one China's top three scenic areas. This event was first held in 2007. As of this year, over 15 million students have participated in the annual vote.
