Jurat Brings Uyghur Psychedelic Blues to Urumqi

Jurat, an Uyghur psychedelic band from Beijing, will perform in Urumqi on February 25th to celebrate the release of their new album “San Famile”. With a distinct sound fusing blues, folk, rock and jazz, Jurat's popularity has been growing leaps and bounds since the band's birth in 2002. In 2008, they even collaborated with German electro queen MIA, and they've also been dappling in the experimental music scene in Beijing.
