Joint European Visa Center Opens in Fuzhou
Apr 18, 2016 By eChinacities.com

A joint visa center representing eight European countries officially opened in Fuzhou this past Friday. The visa center will process applications for visas to Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, and Finland.

The new center means that Fuzhou residents no longer have to trek to Guangzhou for visas to any of the countries represented. Applicants must apply in person— as of October 12, 2015 Schengen countries require Chinese visa applicants to be fingerprinted as part of the visa process.

The joint visa center is located on Fuzhou’s Gutian Road. Chinese citizens can apply for student visas, tourist visas, visas for visiting friends and relatives, business visas, and cultural exchange visas.
