Shanghai Jinshan City Beach, the favourite beach of Shanghai locals, will open to the public for free this summer, excluding days with special events or major sports competitions.
Shanghai’s only coastline with a view of the cityscape, the beautiful beach in Jinshan stretches along the north coastline of Hangzhou Bay and is a National 4A level scenic spot. It has held the World Beach Volleyball Game for 8 years in a row and its magical combination of seascape, leisure, pleasure and charm has made it a popular sightseeing destination.
