On Jan. 20th, the D158/7 China Railway High-speed (CRH) Series between Jinan and Zhengzhou opened. Travel time has been reduced to 5 hours and 11 minutes, about 3 hours faster than the previous fastest train between the two cities. The train passes through Taishan, Yanzhou, Xuzhou, Shangqiu, Kaifang, and more. First-class seats are RMB 248, and RMB 207 for second-class seats for the whole journey.
