Taxis are a cheap option in Jinan. Fares start at 7.5 RMB, which covers the first 3 kilometers of your trip. There is also a fuel surcharge of 0.5 RMB with a surcharge of 1.2 RMB for every additional kilometer.
If you do not speak Chinese, ensure that you have a map, or know the name of your destination in Chinese.
