Quite possibly the only artist living in Hangzhou to be included in the Meteor Choice Album of the Year 2012, Irish Independent folk musician John Carroll will perform at Joy Luck Club on December 8th. In 2005, Carroll released a 5-song EP he recorded in Boston, and in 2007 he released his debut album following a tour through Ireland, Scotland and England. He later moved to Hangzhou, where he has since been working to promote the local music scene while also performing more than 80 shows nationwide. At this performance, he will be playing in support of his new album, "Let Every Tongue" - recorded and produced here in Hangzhou. Support on the night comes from another Hangzhou local band. Support your local independent musicians!
