My Way Through the Labyrinth

At this special 'Women in Business' breakfast to mark International Women's Day, we will take time to celebrate the achievements of women by sharing experiences and networking with each other. Our speaker will relate some of her thoughts and values which led her to join BP after university and then to take on a number of different roles, combining career and family. She will also give us an insight into how she has implemented those values as her career progressed. 

Speaker's Biography
Alex Jensen, President of BP Oil China, Retail and LPG
Alex Jensen started her career with BP in 1991 after graduating from Oxford University in Chinese studies. She has had a varied and diverse 17 year-long career in BP, including several international assignments. Alex relocated to Shanghai after getting her Executive MBA from Stanford University in 2008.
 
Currently living in Shanghai with her husband Sean, her 9-year old son Max and 7-year old daughter Sophie, her hobbies include singing (especially karaoke), instilling her love of China in her kids, skyping friends round the world and shoe-shopping.

9:00 - 9:15am Speech (followed by Q&A)
