The 23rd Annual International Clothing Festival and Carnival, as well as the 2012 China (Dalian) International Garment and Textile Fair will be held in Dalian from September 8-13. The event will consist of an opening ceremony featuring carnival performances, followed by various clothing related events and an awards ceremony to close out the festival. The exposition grounds will be divided into professional and retail areas, with a total of 1,500 booths over 40,000 square meters, making this expo one of the top five largest such events in China. The festival will also include appearances by world-famous designers, a young designers competition, folk song and dance competitions and other special activities.
