Jul 12, 2012 By eChinacities.com

On the afternoon of July 6, a beach four-wheeler and a motorbike collided in an accident in front of the China Seaside Resort Hotel in Sanya, resulting in three people getting injured. These beach motorbikes or four-wheelers are not allowed in the Sanya area, but citizens will purchase them illegally at low prices to ride around on the beach. According to reports, about 100 such vehicles can be frequently seen whizzing around Sanya's beaches and have become one of the biggest safety threats to beach-goers.
