Beijing’s tallest skyscraper, the 330m China World Trade Center III, opened officially on August 17th. The World Trade Hotel, located on floors 64 through 81, was one of the first businesses to commence operations.

It only takes 38 seconds to speed up to the top floor of the hotel from the first floor lobby. The elevators are touch screen operated, and you can expect to experience a bit of ringing in the ears and a lightness on the feet from the drastic changes in air pressure as you're propelled upward.

The hotel bar on the 80th floors is fitted with floor to ceiling glass windows. Guests are encouraged to use the binoculars installed at each window to view landmarks such as the Forbidden City and the new CCTV headquarters below.
