Hong Kong's Wen Wei Po reported that a number of multinational companies in Hong Kong are holding interviews for new Hong Kong-based candidates across the border in Shenzhen. The main purpose of the interview is to test whether or not their employees will be able to enter in Mainland China.
Those involved in the higher levels of Occupy Central and served as student organizers have been blocked from entering the Mainland for security reasons.
This has attracted the attention of Hong Kong's multinational companies. If Hong Kong companies wish to expand to and do business in Mainland China, they cannot employ someone who cannot enter the Mainland.
The best way to do this, for Hong Kong companies, is to hold interviews for Hong Kong-based candidates in Shenzhen. Therefore, only those who are eligible to enter Mainland China will be considered for the position.
