Aug 17, 2012 By eChinacities.com

The Hohhot Baita International Airport recently announced its plans to beef up security throughout the airport from August 25 to September 10. Under the increased security measures, all personnel (including visitors and escort staff) will be required to hold a valid identification document on their person at all times (ID card, passport, military officer's card, police officer's card, children's permanent resident registration) before entering the terminal. Passengers should plan on arriving at the airport at least 150 minutes prior to their plane's departure to avoid any travel delays related to the longer-than-usual check-in and security checks.
