It is reported that a bar street named 1912 will be opened in September in Hefei next year. People hope that Hefei’s nightlife will become more lively with the opening of this bar street. According to some insiders, there used to be more than 30 bars in Hefei, however, the world financial crisis saw that by the end of 2009 about two third of these establishments had been shut down, leaving only a dozen still open.
