In general, cab fares start at 6 RMB and then charge 2.5 RMB per km. Pinnacle or “Bingyue” cars start at 8 RMB and charge 2.5 RMB per km. After 2.5 km, the rate is 1.2 RMB/km; after 10 km, the rate is 1.8 RMB/km. The gas surcharge is 2 RMB, but for Pinnacle cars the gas surcharge is 1 RMB.
