According to the People's Daily, following a comprehensive analysis of 31 years' worth of data, experts at the National Climate Center have released a new "top ten furnace cities" list, with Hefei included on it. In order from first to tenth, the hottest cities in China are: Chongqing, Fuzhou, Hangzhou, Nanchang, Changsha, Wuhan, Xi'an, Nanjing, Hefei and Nanning.
