Heavy Rain Hits Wuhan: Floods Cause Major Traffic Disruption

On June 18th, Wuhan was ravaged by the heaviest rain in the last 12 years. The one-day rainfall was able to fill the equivalent of 11 and half Donghu Lakes. Many urban areas were waterlogged and buses could not pass through. The flooded roads caused crippling disruption of traffic systems.
