On March 6th, heavy fog blanketed Nanning, Guangxi Province. The visibility in some areas was less than 500 meters, prompting the Nanning Meteorological Bureau to issue a yellow ‘heavy fog’ warning. The fog also caused Nanning Wuxu International Airport to shut down, leaving thousands of passengers stranded.
