Hangzhou Opens More Public Restrooms
Dec 30, 2009 By eChinacities.com
It is getting even more convenient for Hangzhou residents to find a nearby public restroom – 181 free public bathrooms have already been opened in key areas. Most of them are on busy streets including Fengqi Lu, Yan’an Lu, Southern Song Imperial Street and in the Wulin business district. Twenty toilets on Southern Song Imperial Street alone have been opened for free use. Specially designed signs with both Chinese and English will be in place by Spring Festival to guide the visitors from home and abroad.
