Hangzhou Braces for Heavy Snow as Temperatures Hit New Winter Low

On the morning of Jan 17, temperatures in Hangzhou hit a new record low this winter, with lowest temperatures dipping to -5℃ and highest temperatures merely reaching 2℃ on the mercury. The provincial weather bureau has forecast moderate to heavy snow this week that’s expected to last until the weekend.
