The Guilin Shangri-La Hotel's 1st Oktoberfest officially kicked off on October 20 in the hotel's Li Café. Festivities include lots of imported German brews, as well as sausages, potato salad, sauerkraut and a variety of fine breads. In addition, a beer-drinking contest will be hosted every night of the festival (now until November 2).
Getting there: take 17, 30, 32, 32b, 51 to Yushan Bridge bus stop (虞山桥站)
