The Guilin–Liuzhou high-speed rail is expected to open this year, with a travel time of only one hour between the two cities. In addition, the Xianggui track (Hunan to Guangxi) is being constructed, with train speeds expected to hover between 200 and 250km/h. The project will be finished this June.
