AmCham Shanghai invites you to a special luncheon presentation by DuPont's senior economist Robert C. Fry, Ph.D. on June 28 at the Four Seasons Hotel.  
Dr. Robert Fry will discuss the outlook for the global economy in 2010 and 2011, focusing primarily on industrial production. He will also discuss the shape and sustainability of economic recovery/expansion in various regions of the world. Among the topics covered will be GDP growth, motor vehicle production, inflation, interest rates and exchange rates.
This is an excellent opportunity to hear from a leading economist focusing on production in a globalized economy.

About the Speaker:  

Robert C. Fry, Jr. is senior economist for DuPont. Mr. Fry joined DuPont in 1984 in Wilmington, Delaware as an economist in Conoco's Coordinating and Planning Department.
In 1987, he transferred to DuPont as associate economist in the DuPont Economist's Office. In 1993 and 1994, he was a fixed income analyst for DuPont Pension Fund Investment (now DuPont Capital Management). Mr. Fry returned to the Economist's Office and was named to his current position on November 1, 1994.
Mr. Fry is a member of the board of directors of the National Association for Business Economics, a member of the Conference of Business Economists, and one of DuPont's two representatives on the board of directors of the Charter School of Wilmington.
He received a Bachelor's degree in economics from Ohio University and a Master's and Ph.D. in economics from Harvard University.
